Tips for passing Phoenix Point - Guides and tips # 009

How to recruit new soldiers

All about recruiting new units.

At the beginning of the campaign in Cape Phoenix, several soldiers will be at your disposal. Soon they will be absent to complete all the missions, so you will need to recruit new soldiers. This, however, differs significantly from games such as XCOM 2, as it requires visiting the bastion of another faction.

During the game you will discover new places on the map - some of them will be bastions of factions available in the game, New Jericho, Acolyte Anu or Sanhedrin. New recruits will appear from time to time in the bastions where the training centers will be built - this is shown by the "little man" icon at the location.

To recruit a soldier, you have to go to this type of bastion, open the BASTION INFORMATION tab and then click the "Recruit a Soldier" button in the Training Center. The enlisted soldier will go on board the plane that visited the faction's facility - if there is no place here, he will be transferred to the nearest Phoenix Point base.

All three resources are required for recruiting soldiers - Technology, Materials and Food - and each rented unit will consume one meal per day. Therefore, it is worth ensuring the proper production of this raw material - or actively obtaining it during missions and/or looting outposts of other factions.

In addition, new soldiers can be obtained from various special events on the world map - after completing a mission or visiting a new place. These soldiers are also much more valuable because they often already have a higher level of experience.

Armor units, how to penetrate

How does the armor affect the damage you receive and how to break through it.

Armor plays a fairly obvious role - it limits the amount of damage a character receives. However, unlike, for example, XCOM 2, each body part of a soldier or a foreign unit has a different number of armor points, which depends on many factors.

How much damage a character gets depends on the number of armor points protecting that part of the body. For example, if an attack deals 30 damage and the body part under attack has 10 armor, it will eventually take 20 damage.

However, the final damage will often be displayed as a value between, for example, 10-30 points - this depends on the accuracy and the possibility of hitting a more or less armored part than indicated in the crosshair.

In turn, if the amount of armor exceeds the damage that the second unit can inflict, the target will not receive any damage. Do you want to make money but do not know how to go to this site ggbet login and you'll get it all in a short period of time.
